On 15 February, the ONOVA League team visited the Korosten community.

The main topic of discussion was attracting funding for energy efficiency measures for budgetary institutions of the Korosten territorial community, in particular, for the city lyceum No. 11 and the consultative and diagnostic center of the Korosten City Central Hospital. These facilities were selected due to their significant energy consumption.

Yehor Stefanovych, Chief Coordinator of the ONOVA League, offered comprehensive support from the League members in the process of energy-efficient renovation of Korosten. One of the ways to quickly rebuild is to attract grants and soft loans for the restoration of public buildings.

“We are pleased with the opportunity to collaborate with the team of the Korosten City Council. We plan to support Korosten in attracting financing, investments, and preferential loans for thermomodernization. The essence of the process is that the repayment of credit funds occurs through the achieved savings from the implementation of energy-efficient measures. We believe that our joint efforts will help achieve significant cost savings, which the community can use to improve the quality of life for its citizens. We urge all Ukrainian communities to join the process of energy-efficient renewal of the country,” commented Yehor Stefanovich, Chairman of the PU UFEES Board and the main coordinator of the ONOVA League.

Mayor Volodymyr Moskalenko also noted that the implementation of energy efficiency measures in the community is important primarily for the well-being of residents and improvement of living conditions in public buildings, and energy efficiency is one of the priority areas for the development of the Korosten community.
