Mission, functions, tasks
The mission of the Ministry of Energy is to reliably provide consumers with clean, safe, affordable energy.
Functions of the Ministry of Energy:
formulation and implementation of state policy in the electric power, nuclear, coal, peat, oil and gas and oil and gas processing complexes;
formulation and implementation of state policy in the field of efficient use of fuel and energy resources, energy saving, renewable energy sources and alternative fuels (except for energy efficiency of buildings and other structures) and in the field of supervision (control) in the fields of electricity and heat supply.
The main tasks of the Ministry of Energy are
ensuring the formation and implementation of state policy in the fuel and energy complex;
ensuring the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of efficient use of fuel and energy resources, energy saving, renewable energy sources and alternative fuels;
ensuring the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of supervision (control) in the fields of electricity and heat supply;
implementation of state administration in the field of nuclear energy use and radiation safety.
We cooperate with the Public Union "Ukrainian Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving Fund" within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation (Partnership) of June 1, 2022.
