The Makariv settlement territorial community is a territorial community that is part of the Buchansky district of the Kyiv region of Ukraine. The administrative center is the village of Makariv.
Makarov Oblast is an agriculturally oriented region, where the main areas of agricultural production are the cultivation of grain, legumes, industrial crops, in particular, potatoes and flax, livestock and poultry, as well as milk and meat production.
The peculiarities of the economy determined that more than 2/3 of the total volume of industrial production is the production of consumer goods, and 90% is the food and processing industry.
In general, the industry of the former Makariv district is represented by about 10 main enterprises, and almost all of them have a non-state form of ownership. In the structure of industrial production, the priority place belongs to the food industry. In Makarov, in particular, there is a bakery and a number of other industries.
