Urban planning is a tribute to modernity. For more than 70 years, November 8 has been celebrated around the world as the Day of Urban Planning. Marking the date and drawing public attention to the field of urban planning, development of urban infrastructure and megacities began in 1949 in the capital of distant Argentina. The proposal belongs to Carlos Maria della Paolera, a professor at the University of Buenos Aires.
Everything to emphasize the recognition and significant role of professional planning and creation of a comfortable and ergonomic urban environment. World Urbanism Day is an opportunity to look at design globally. But plan the development of cities and territories conscientiously and efficiently. And also — an opportunity to draw the attention of residents and state authorities to issues of proper environmental impact.
Today, the Day of Urban Planning is celebrated in more than 30 countries of the world on four continents. In Ukraine, the holiday is not officially established, but the topic itself is acutely relevant. After all, high-quality and rapid reconstruction of residential, critical, public infrastructure in Ukraine is currently one of the strategic and priority tasks of the state.
The members of the League of Renewal of Ukraine are unanimous in the fact that reconstruction and renewal are inseparable. This process should be as efficient as possible, and the modernization of each individual object and building should make it part of a comfortable, safe, energy-independent ecosystem of the community. Every project undertaken by the partners participating in the League using ONOVA GIS HUB is appropriately connected with the development plan and the master plan of the city, takes into account the best examples of world practice and meets the needs of residents and modern standards of safety, comfort, and efficiency.
