Special and strategic. This is how one of the largest offline events for Ukrainian business – the Kyiv International Economic Forum 2022 – turned out and was marked.
This year, KMEF was organized under wartime conditions, but despite the obstacles and anxiety, it traditionally gathered a wide circle of participants in the capital. Owners and top managers of Ukrainian and international companies, representatives of central and local authorities, international organizations and financial funds, media joined the forum.
It is better to understand the real state and needs of Ukrainian business during the war, to revive and support the economy of Ukraine both internally and by attracting funding and investments from foreign partners, and of course to discuss key economic issues and global trends – topical working topics were traditionally revealed at panel discussions and speeches experts and in the informal communication of leaders of opinion leaders of all spheres that influence the economy of Ukraine and its future.
The delegation of the League of Renewal of Ukraine was presented at the event by the president and chairman of the supervisory board of the "Ukrainian Fund of Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving" (UFEES) Anar Rafiev and the chairman of the board of UFEES Yehor Stefanovych.
The League's specialists held a number of useful talks, raised the issue of Ukraine's renewal and the use of innovative tools for the interaction of forum participants, making appropriate decisions and promoting the rapid and effective reconstruction of the country's infrastructure and its modernization. Such a tool is the ONOVA GIS HUB update portal, created by UFEES in cooperation with the company Esri (USA) and the public organization "Elektronic Ukraine".
During the panel presentations, representatives of the Office of the President of Ukraine and the Ministry of Economy touched on this topic and emphasized its importance. The state-makers also formulated the logic of renewal. It should be consistent, effective and large-scale.
This year's KMEF was also notable for its charitable mission, which was supported by the participants. In order to join the forum, instead of buying traditional tickets, all confirmed participants were offered to make a charitable contribution.
All money collected from charitable donations will be directed to support the creation of the Superhumans Center, a specialized hospital for prosthetics, reconstructive surgery, rehabilitation and psychological support for people who suffered during the war.
We express our special thanks to the initiator of the forum, Vasyl Khmelnytskyi, a Ukrainian entrepreneur, the founder of the UFuture holding and the UNIT.City innovation park. After all, offline communication is one of the effective levers in business cooperation. The organization of such a large-scale event in the conditions of martial law is an important contribution to the stability of Ukraine's economy now and its bold future.
The forum is undoubtedly a strong center of expertise for those who bet on Ukraine and work in the market with a dynamically growing economy. By organizing a dialogue between experts, business and the government, KMEF forms a useful development strategy and promotes the transformation of expert ideas into real actions. The mission of KMEF is to build a successful future by uniting specialists who have the desire and ability to change the world and Ukraine for the better.
And this strategy 100% coincides with the benchmark goal of ONOVA GIS HUB and the League of Renewal of Ukraine.
