Today, given the energy situation throughout Ukraine, the search for alternative sources of energy supply is an urgent issue.
The initiator of the ONOVA League, the Public Union "Ukrainian Foundation of Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving" has already started various activities to provide cities, communities, and government agencies with generators.
The joint efforts of the participants of the Ukraine's Renovation League ONOVA have collected applications from communities and ministries. Together with the Ministry of Energy, we have formed a request for the most problematic and demanded infrastructure facilities that critically need a stable power supply - providing them with generators (cities of Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, Bucha, Irpin, Makariv).
With the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), a program is being developed to supply generators and provide electricity to communities and state institutions of Ukraine.
On 9.12.22 a coordination meeting was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Ukraine Mr. Yagmur Ahmet Güldere, FAO Representative in Ukraine Mr. Mykhailo Malkov and the leadership of the Public Union - President of the PU Anar Rafiev and Chairman of the Board Yegor Stefanovych.
The main topics of discussion were the assistance of the Republic of Turkey with generators, issues of reconstruction of Ukraine and post-war development of agriculture, education and health care.
We thank the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Ukraine Mr. Yagmur Ahmet Güldere, as well as the FAO Representative in Ukraine Mr. Mikhail Malkov for the fruitful meeting and support of the energy initiative of the ONOVA League.
