Ukraine`s Renovation League ONOVA and the IT OTG Consortium (Information Technologies Territorial Communities) are starting to cooperate on the renewal and rebuilding of the destroyed infrastructure of communities.

The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in early March by Lilia Nechai, CEO of the Consortium, and Yehor Stefanovych, ONOVA's Chief Coordinator and Chairman of the Board of the Public Union  “Ukrainian Fund of Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving”.

"In the Consortium, we believe that the restoration of destroyed buildings and especially systems should be carried out with the help of the latest information technologies, which reduce all kinds of energy and financial costs. It is great that this fully coincides with the philosophy that guides the PU UFEES and other members of the ONOVA League," said Lilia Nechai.

"The implementation of geoinformation systems for water supply and sewage from our new partners can increase the efficiency of the water utilities' cost side and resource allocation by 25-30% per year. We know that the water utility networks of many cities and communities have been damaged as a result of numerous shelling. That is why the geographic information system (GIS) and hydraulic model of water supply and sewerage networks (based on the Hydra WS program), information and analytical system of control and management from IT OTG will be useful," said Yehor Stefanovych, Chairman of the Board of the PU UFEES.

The Consortium has more than 30 implemented projects in different regions of Ukraine, both for water supply and sewage networks and municipal infrastructure in general.

After the victory, Ukrainian cities and communities should receive a modern, energy-efficient, and easy-to-manage water supply network that will serve their residents for many years to come.
