On November 30, a round table of the Public Council of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine on "Draft Action Plan for Post-War Reconstruction and Development of Ukraine on Digitalization" was held.
For the first time since the beginning of a large-scale war, the Public Council of the Ministry of Digital Transformation gathered together to discuss the digital development of Ukraine during martial law.
Opinion leaders and experts in the field of digitalization and digitalization discussed what services have already been implemented for 9 months of war, what is in development, plans for the next year.
The event was chaired by the Head of the Public Council under the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Chairman of the Board of the Public Union "Ukrainian Fund of Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving" and Chief Coordinator of Ukraine's Renovation League ONOVA Yegor Stefanovych.
🔷 Yegor Stefanovych presented to the participants of the round table the newest geoinformation tool ONOVA GIS HUB by ESRI and the ONOVA portal - a portal for projects and interaction of the participants of the League of Renewal of Ukraine.
At the start of the presentation about the main principles, the initiative to create the ONOVA League.
The main goal of the League is to make Ukraine better: safer, more perfect, more convenient, modern - an updated version of the country.
Then the speaker spoke about the usability of the ONOVA portal and the innovative functionality of ONOVA GIS HUB by ESRI.
Mr. Stefanovic also presented ONOVA projects that are already being implemented by the League members.
At the end of the report Yegor Stefanovych answered the questions of the participants.
In particular, Oleksandr Yaroshenko asked about the possibility of attracting donor funds for the reconstruction of specific facilities through the ONOVA portal.
The speeches of other experts were interesting.
🔷 The introduction of the "ДІЯ" application has brought Ukraine to the world leaders of digital transformation and gave impetus to many European countries in this technological direction.
Denys Ivanov told the participants about the development of the "ДІЯ" project, elaborating on the services launched during the war and hinting at plans to develop the application in the future.
🔷 Restoration and modernization of the country. This topic was revealed in the framework of the round table in his report by the representative of RISE Ukraine, Oleksiy Doroga.
🔷 A representative of the Kharkiv IT cluster reported on the work and achievements of the Kharkiv community during the war.
🔷 Yuriy Zozulya told about the expected and so discussed in Ukrainian society system of protection against enemy drones.
The project "Dronkupol Muromets" is the name of the development. The concept provides for the creation of a radar protection system and its integration with other air defense systems.
🔷 The second part of Mr. Zozulya's report was devoted to the project of recording war crimes against the heritage of Ukraine using 3D technologies. The project also has an applied value for creating content for future virtual war museums.
🔷 In addition to the wide range of topics, the participants also touched upon the urgent issue of digitalization in communities and the problems of protecting open data under martial law.
All participants of the roundtable of the Public Council under the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine confirmed the steadfastness of the country's movement towards victory and the necessity of using innovative achievements of digitalization and digitalization for this.
