А training seminar on "How to engage residents in electronic community tools" was held within the framework of the Digital Resilience Accelerator "Hromada 4.0" Program, implemented by the international organization SocialBoost in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Program.

The U-LEAD with Europe team is working to improve the quality of life of all Ukrainian citizens through local self-government and regional development.
A seminar on community digitalization was held by a guest speaker Yehor Stefanovych, Chairman of the Board of the PU "Ukrainian Fund of Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving", Chairman of the Public Council of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Ph.D. in Economics, Chief Coordinator of Ukraine's Renovation LeagueONOVA.
Mr. Stefanovych shared his extensive experience in digitalization with more than 160 event participants.
What was discussed:
1. Smart City and its components
2. The benefits of implementing e-services in communities
3. How to interest and motivate citizens to use e-tools and go digital
At the end of his report, the speaker summarized the benefits of implementing digitalization at the community level, including convenience, financial, and time savings.
After his speech, Yehor answered numerous questions from the audience, including
1. What percentage of the population can and is potentially ready to actively use digital tools in their lives - up to 60%, according to the speaker;
2. List of necessary digital tools to start implementing community digitalization:
- Document management
- A powerful website
- Call center
- E-democracy
- Applied eHealth and eLearning systems.
In conclusion, understanding the community digitalization plan helps attract funding for this process.

4. The role of digital tools in European countries
"The main condition for successful implementation of community digitalization is support from the leadership. Digitalization is a powerful tool of the electoral process that provides economic and political advantages in elections, helps to have constant feedback, analyze the mood of the electorate and improves the life of the community," Mr. Stefanovych shared his observations at the end of his speech.
