Repair and replacement of windows in 16 regions of Ukraine: joint project with UNHCR

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has launched a large-scale project to replace windows and doors in homes affected by Russian military aggression across Ukraine. The company "Enki Construction" is involved in the implementation.

The works on replacement of damaged windows and doors with new metal-plastic ones have already started. Odesa and Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Chernivtsi and Zhytomyr, Cherkasy and Kirovohrad, Kyiv and Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava and Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Donetsk, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions are the regions where the project will operate.

Enki Construction specialists immediately started to implement the contract with UNDP. The first facilities that needed help the most are already in operation.

From November 2022 to March 23, the Enki Construction team carried out measurements and preparatory work in the regions participating in the project.

At the end of February 2023, the Tomashpil community in Vinnytsia Oblast was the first to receive new windows and doors. 30 new windows and 6 doors to replace the ones damaged by the blast waves were provided to the Tomashpillia District Nursing Home located in the village of Komarhorod, as well as to households in the village of Lipivka.

In March, Irpin began receiving new windows and doors. 88 windows and 17 doors were installed in residential buildings on Pushkinskaya and Tolstoy streets in the first phase, and work is ongoing.
