Thermomodernization of budgetary institutions in Dnipro city
Project
In Ukraine, in the city of Dnipro, thermal modernization works were carried out in 84 buildings of state importance (children's institutions).
The thermal modernization program for Dnipro buildings was funded by loans from
the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Stages of thermomodernization
-
insulation of buildings modernization of the heating system
-
installation of automated IHS
-
installation of a monitoring system
-
Modernization of the hot water supply system
The thermal modernization measures are designed to save financial costs for energy. The thermal modernization has made it possible to significantly reduce capital expenditures on energy. Thermal modernization measures result in savings of up to 50% of current costs. Experience shows that the payback period for thermal modernization measures does not exceed 4 years.
The following results have been achieved in the implementation of thermal modernization measures in budgetary institutions in the city of Dnipro
modern buildings with renovated facades
reduction of current energy costs by up to 50%
timely and high-quality control over the process of building operation
uncompromising ability to
-
plan the budget for building maintenance costs
-
complete and transparent information on modern management tools
-
comfortable stay of visitors and staff
Brief conclusions after the completed activities at one of the facilities:
School № 12
Before: electricity consumption before thermal modernization for one school year:
613 MW 733,440 g = $27,500
After the measures were implemented, the following was recorded electricity consumption for the academic year 2020-2021:
166 MW 211,556 g = $8,300
At the above facility, the electricity efficiency reached about 80%. When this efficiency is achieved, the payback period of the measures is approximately 4 years.
