Bucha is the administrative center of the Bucha territorial community and the district center of the Buchansk district of the Kyiv region, which unites a total of 12 communities.
Bucha community includes 14 settlements.
Date of creation - September 28, 2018.
In the Bucha community, the boundaries of the city of Bucha, settlements and villages of the community were approved, and the general plans of settlements were updated. The concept of Bucha Techno Garden was developed and implemented - a priority development area with an area of 3,433 hectares within the city of Bucha, the village of Vorzel, the villages of Myrotske and Blystavitsa, which includes the territory of the Antonov SE cargo airport.
During the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the entire territory of the community was occupied from the first days of the attack on the Kyiv region and was liberated on March 31, 2022.
The Bucha community has approved the Development Strategy of the Bucha urban territorial community until 2029, the purpose of which is to solve common problems and implement common tasks regarding the effective development of the productive forces of the community, the rational use of resource potential, the creation of comfortable living conditions for the population, ensuring environmental safety and improving the territorial organization society. This is achieved through the joint implementation of the interests of the government, community and business.
The cooperation of the Bucha City Council with the Public Union "Ukrainian Fund for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving" takes place within the framework of the Agreement on Cooperation (Partnership) dated June 7, 2022.
