LLC “Atmosfera Engeneering”
Atmosfera is a leading Ukrainian company in the field of solar energy, engaged in the design, construction and maintenance of solar power plants and energy storage systems for households, businesses and communities throughout Ukraine. Atmosfera carries out pro bono the development of a technical solution, preparation of project documentation and the search for funding sources for social infrastructure facilities. As an official representative and service partner of global equipment manufacturers, the company has been supplying the solar market with the latest solutions since 2007.
The company's first well-known project was the "solarization" of the all-Ukrainian network of the KLO gas stations in 2010. The total thermal capacity of the project is 2.9 MW. Since 2015, the company has been actively building ‘green tariff’ solar stations for private households. A number of domestic stations with a total capacity of more than 1 MW have been installed. From 2020, Atmosfera starts building self-consumption stations for businesses. Among the company's clients are Filmotechnik, ‘Mushrooms of Ukraine’, Business Park ‘Europasage’, Kyiv-Mohyla Business School, Henkel, BeMobile, Fora and many other enterprises and businesses - mini-hotels, resorts, restaurants, farms, Administrative Services Centers in communities, schools, data centers, plastic recycling companies.
Over the years of its activity, together with its partners, the company has implemented more than 12,000 solar projects with a total capacity of 320 MW. Among them are the Tarasivska solar power plant (SPP) with a capacity of 58 MW, the Zaichivskiy SPP with a capacity of 22 MW, Kostogryzivska SPP with a capacity of 7 MW and many others.
Atmosfera operates throughout Ukraine, having offices in Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Odesa, Khmelnytskyi and Kherson. The company also operates on the markets of Poland, Georgia, Lithuania, and Serbia. Today, the Atmosfera team has 160 employees. The main values of the team are freedom, openness, trust, conscious partnership and innovative development.
The company's mission is to develop a sustainable energy system of Ukraine with renewables.
In May 2023, Atmosfera was included in the Forbes Next-250 ranking of the most promising mid-sized companies. Also, Atmosfera became the first company in the field of solar energy of Ukraine to join the UN Global Compact - the world's largest community of responsible businesses. The company sets ambitious goals for the coming years - promoting the sustainable development of cities and communities in the context of post-war recovery, ensuring responsible consumption, as well as combating climate change and its consequences.
In October 2023, Atmosfera took first place at the "Partnership for Sustainable Development - 2023" competition from the UN Global Compact in Ukraine in the "Planet" category. The award was presented for a joint project of the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Program, implemented by the East Europe Foundation, and Atmosfera.
